Computer Systems for Development, Test & Validation of PCI Express (PCIE) based SoCs and Devices

Mobile & Stationary Computer Systems for Development, Field Test and Validation of PCI Express (PCIe) based SoCs and devices. Realized with a flexible, software-configurable FPGA-based DUT-interface with enhanced configuration and debugging functionalities. The systems are suitable for a variety of applications in the field and laboratory where powerful x86 or ARM based CPUs needs to be flexibly connected to PCIe high-speed peripherals. Due to the flexible sideband configuration possibilities the systems can furthermore be configured to adapt SoCs with proprietary sideband signals to the Host CPU.

Our Product and Service Portfolio

Based on existing system platforms, building blocks and IPs, we offer SoC designers and system providers system solutions and services for the development, testing and validation of PCIe devices.

Our cost-effective product and service portfolio is targeting the technological requirements and time-to-market needs of PCIe SoC designers and system providers and is constantly being further developed.

Our solutions are based on scalable x86 and ARM computer platforms in various performance classes, which are connected to the respective SoC via a flexible FPGA-based interface unit. This enables the efficient, flexible configuration of sideband signals, system management bus systems and power supply of the DUT, which means that our systems can also be used to emulate application processors. The systems are available with PCIE Express PCIe ASPM / L1.2 Substate Support.

Depending on the requirements of the specific project and the equipped CPU platform, operating system configurations with Linux, Windows or Android operating systems can be implemented on the host side.

Our systems are e.g. used in the following applications segments, among others:

  • Development
  • Field Test
  • Functional and MTBF Tests
  • Network Monitoring
  • Approval tests at customers, certification organizations and network providers

 

Furthermore our system components can also be implemented in modified form in OEM systems and devices.

The realization of a customer-specific PCIe project is always preceded by thorough discussions with the customer in order to precisely define the scope and requirements.
